About Us

GCS Credit Union has been in Illinois providing loans, basic savings, and other banking services since 1941! We started as a single location, but have frown to support Madison, St. Clair, Jersey, Macoupin, Montgomery, Bond, Clinton, Washington, Randolph, and Monroe counties.

There are many benefits to joining a credit union. We are a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. We focus on our members' financial needs, and aren't interested in making a profit off of them. Donna at the GCS Maryville Center in Granite City was extreamly helpful and professional when helping us with our loan. She took the time to get to know us, to listen to our needs and then offered services to fit what we asked for. Because of her knowledge and professionalism we will be going to GSC Credit Union for all of our banking needs.
